Unit 5 - Essay Idea
I was thinking of doing an essay on Nick Park, a British animator who created Wallace and Gromit, Shaun the Sheep and Chicken Run. I have seen these animations some time ago and still remember what they are like so I think this will give me a good advantage on giving out a good essay.

Nick Park is a good choice - but don't forget, you are critically investigating the animator and their work, so you won't be going into story details. You will need to look at who/what influenced Park, where the technique used by him comes from historically, what other animators were around at the same time using similar techniques, etc! Go to the library catalogue and see if you can get some books out asap...
